People resent over Obscene Posters in Rawalpindi Pakistan

Posted By admin

The residents of Rawalpindi City have expressed their resentment over the obscene posters of movies that are displayed at different places.

These posters containing bare skins to attract more and more audience are of Pakistani films, but this approach could not attract the audience as one could easily see the empty seats during the display of these movies.

The Marreer Bridge is covered with such posters from where a great number of pedestrians including female college students also pass through. These posters are a source of spreading immorality among the youth. One could spot male students of schools and colleges gathered round these posters.

Farhat, a passerby, said that these posters have no effect when there is cable connection in most of the houses and children see these things inside their houses. The group of young students keenly observing these posters told ‘The News’ that they really want to see these movies.

Nafees, a government employee, told that you couldn’t generalize the perspective of one person to all. People do more than we even expect but obscenity and immorality should not be made public. The majority of people of this country still hold obscenity as a moral crime.
