Haal E Dil

Starring: Adhyayan Suman, Amita Pathak, Nakuul
Director: Anil Devgan
What To Watch: Adhyayan Suman (only if u are a fan of his….which I surely doubt!!)
What Will Bore You Away: Actors acting and film’s unoriginalityWith the age of remix songs doing pretty well among the youngsters, the script writer of this movie had honestly thought, the remix movies would have the similar reception. This is a movie, which has made a point to touch every hit moment of a super hit flick from recent films.

The movie, being produced by Kumar Mangat, surely has his daughter, Amita Pathak as the centre of attraction. The story is about a girl, Sanjana (Amita Pathak) who is still a student, and as most of her lot, is in love with her classmate Rohit (Adhyayan Suman). But then she has to go to Shimla, boarding a train which has Shekhar (Nakuul), as her co passenger. Shekhar is well established in flirting and has a crush on Sanjana almost immediately. While Sanjana ignores him typical Kajol style in DDLJ by being absorbed in her book, Shekhar acts Sharukh, trying to impress the lady and playing his guitar. And then there comes a bit from Jab We Met, where the duo miss the train at some station and decide to stick with each other until they reach safely at the destination. They then drift to some jungle kind of a place where they encounter a horrid Veerappan like character.

Now when they finally rescue themselves and track their way back, Shekhar tells Sanjana that he loves her. As expected Sanjana rejects it which makes Shekhar to go on hunger strike in front of Sanjana’s house to prove his love for her (Gandhigiri is surely getting popular!!).

And then comes in scene long forgotten, Rohit, who was supposed to be Sanjana’s true and original love. From there on, the typical bollywood drama starts, for which I don’t have enough patience to describe.
The actress Amita Pathak is too fat to be a mainstream commercial movie actress. And the fact that she is projected as if she was the prettiest lady on the earth doesn’t goes down pretty well with the audience. The actress surely needs to lose some weight and work up her charms if she really wants to stay long. The actors are also not very successful in winning over the audiences, which make the film expected to go below average.
